Thank you guys for the support! It may be a small thing but it's always encourage to see these little things build up. It gives me a reason to improve and show of the best possible work I can. It also reassures me that I'm not completely wasting my time.

So I'm getting more into social media. I recently started up a tiktok and a bluesky and to quite honest with you, this marketing shit is so damn exhausting. It's pulling my brain in so many different directions. But I'm determined to make this art thing work, and I simply can't do that buy drawing something, posting it, and moving on. Realistically that just doesn't work.
I just hope I have enough to to make actual art I enjoy and not drive myself absolutely ballistic trying to appease the algorithms.

Been a while since I've posted. Been a while since I've done anything adhering to some sort of routine. I'm trying to get better at that but damn it's so hard to kick yourself in the ass to do it.
Anyway I recently just finished a piece and I'm starting to get a style down. I'm extremely proud of how it turned out. I've always liked Aleksander Rostov's work with Disco Elysium, and I've always wanted to incorporated into my art somehow but was never sure how. However, I think giving a similar painterly edge when it comes to the hair really makes it stand out. Lemme know what you think :D

Finally finished the comic I've been yammering on about for the past couple of weeks. Learned quite a bit as far as paneling and motion and all that. A bucket list item of mine is to create a visual novel series on the level of Blacksad or Berserk, so starting with characters and designs not as intricate will definitely be good practice for that.

Three sketches for y'all. These consist of one (5 minute) landscape and two (5 minute, 20 minute) urban environments.
So happy mother's day! I hope you guys spent it well, or at the very least got through it halfway decently. I'm STILL working on the comic for CRAB5, planning on burning the midnight oil while I have a let's play of OMORI playing in the background for noise to keep my mind occupied. Hopefully I finish before the May 17th deadline. It just turned into an expected pilot for a series at this point.
Oh and as you can see I abbreviated the title. It just seemed like too much to cram all in there.
Anywho, I'll try to make this a more regular thing. I always want to interact with the community as much as possible. Sometimes all we have is each other.

Happy belated May 4th to y'all. I just finished sketching the most difficult parts of the comic for the CRAB contest (still some work to do ngl), but I think given a couple more hours I can mainly focus on inking and shadework. Hope you enjoy it.
If the reception goes over well I might be motivated to make this a pilot for my first comic series :D I already brainstormed some lore too.

Decided to try my hand at faces today. Not really my strong suit but we all gotta work at our weaknesses. Especially if it's paramount to great OC design.
The comic is taking a little longer than anticipated but progress is still coming along. I think about 3-5 pages left and I'll be Gucci.
